Some items are not allowed on iScour. If you suspect that someone's item is counterfeit or illegal we encourage you to use the Report Abuse link in the member area and let us know. This section will give you guidelines on what items we will not entertain. These items include alcohol, animals, credit cards, food, fireworks, tobacco and some weapons:
* Academic Software - Academic software is software sold at discounted prices to students, faculty members or educational institutions. Unless you are a authorized seller and say so in your description, do not add it.
* Alcohol - Due to strict federal regulation, we do not allow alcohol sales.
* Animals and Wildlife - Live animals of any kind are not allowed, with the exception of Hatching Eggs.
* Animal Products - Bones, Skins, Pelts, Animal Mounts, are not allowed.
* Human remains, gravesite-related items, and burial items may not be listed.
* Artifacts taken from any federal, state, public Department of Interior Agencies (NPS, BLM, USFWS) and Department of Agriculture Agencies (USFS), Native American land, or battlefield are prohibited for sale.
* Speleothems, stalactites, and stalagmites from any federal land is prohibited by law. Many states also prohibit the sale of speleothems, stalactites, and stalagmites. Please make sure your item is legal before listing.
* Historical graves, tombstones are NOT allowed.
* Native American Crafts: Under the Indian Arts and Crafts Act, all arts or craftwork offered for sale as American Indian or Alaska Native must be made by an enrolled member of a state or federally recognized Indian tribe or by an individual certified as an Indian artisan by the governing body of an Indian tribe. Please ensure that you're complying with the law and accurately representing your item, particularly if you're selling Indian-style jewelry, pottery, baskets, carved stone fetishes, woven rugs, kachina dolls, or clothing. If you have any questions regarding the sale of American Indian or Alaska Native art or craftwork on iScour, contact the Indian Arts and Crafts Board by visiting the IACB's IACB website, which includes more information about the Indian Arts and Crafts Act.
* Reproductions must be clearly marked as such. This must be stated in the item description, in an identical font size to that of the rest of the listing. Failure to comply with the above text reference will result in the termination of the listing. This policy applies to all Native American items, including crafts and artifacts.
* Beta Software - Software which is beta is NOT allowed.
* Bootleg Cassettes, CDs, Tapes - Are not allowed.
* Counterfeit Currency and Stamps - Counterfeit Equipments, Counterfeit Coins, Counterfeit Stamps are illegal. Do not add Counterfeit items.
* Downloads - No items or products to be delivered electronically through the Internet are allowed, with the exception of those being offered via our Digital Download system on iScour.
* Drugs - Absolutely no pharmaceuticals and or illegal substances will be listed.
* Fireworks - Fireworks of any sort are not allowed.
* Hazzardous Materials - No explosives, radioactive materials, flammable gases, and toxic substances are allowed.
* Human Parts and Remains - Are not allowed.
* Lottery Tickets - Are not allowed.
* Mature Audiences/Adult Products - Most adult sexual items are allowed, provided no pornographic images are associated with the product and it is BRAND NEW AND SEALED. Used adult items are STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
* Replica and Counterfeit Items - Do not list counterfeits, unauthorized replicas, or otherwise unauthorized items (such as counterfeit handbags, watches etc) unless your description plainly states it is a replica item and you have written permission from the authentic manufacture to sell such items. If your listing is reported, it will be removed and proper proof of writen consent must then be supplied to iScour.
* Stolen Items - Under NO circumstances should stolen goods be added to iScour. If items are found to be stolen we will not hesitate to contact the sellers local law enforcement agency as well as suspend all account activity.
* Piracy - Piracy is illegal and under NO circumstances should unauthorized (such as pirated, duplicated, backup, bootleg, etc) copies of software programs, video games, music albums, movies, television programs, or photographs be listed.
